The Day of the Tread has selected the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation and Casa Esperanza to be beneficiaries of this event.  These local organizations rely on donations and thank everyone involved with the Day of the Tread for helping them to fulfill their missions.

Whether you're riding, running, or watching make your tread have greater impact by joining us in this "tread" raising challenge.

If you raise $150 by September 23rd, 2011, we'll pay your Day of the Tread registration fee! Sign up now for the "Tread"raising Challenge and once you've reached $150 we will register you to save you the hassle! How the Challenge works:

1. Create your own fundraising page at www.active.com/donate/dayofthetread
   It's easy!!! Active.com will walk you through the process. You can customize your personal page with a story, an image and your own goal. this page, credit cards aren't a problem and a tax receipt is given automatically with each donation.  If you have any questions you can email or call Kim at the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation 505.243.6626, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 2. Call, email and text your friends, family and coworkers and let them know about the challenge and how much their donation means to the families served by Casa and the kids served by the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation.
3. Once you've raised $150 we will collect all of the necessary registration information and submit and pay for your registration to the 5th Annual Day of the Tread, helping you to avoid the hassle and giving you a personal contact to answer all of your questions.
4. On October 16th ride or run your way to glory in the 5th Annual Day of the Tread, knowing that your tread makes a greater impact because of your "treadraising" efforts.
